Gadar 2 box office collection day 21: Before SRK unleashes Jawan, Sunny Deol’s film has one last chance to cross the 500 crore mark
Gadar 2 box office: Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s film is now approaching the 500 crore mark, competing with Pathaan and Baahubali The Conclusion, the highest domestic grossers in Hindi. According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, the Anil Sharma-directed film earned 7.50 crore on its third Thursday. Gadar 2 debuted in theaters on August 11 alongside Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2. The two films were released a day after Rajinikanth’s Tamil film Jailer crossed the 300 crore mark. Gadar 2 is now on its way to crossing the 500 crore mark, which is expected this weekend.
Sunny Deol is overjoyed with the success of Gadar 2
Gadar 2 is currently the third most successful Hindi film. Sunny expressed his gratitude for the film’s 400 crore milestone by recording a video while on a flight. He thanked moviegoers for their support on his Instagram account. Sunny said in the video, “First and foremost, thank you all.” I had no idea you guys would enjoy Gadar 2 so much. Because of you, we’ve surpassed 400 crores.” Sunny and brother Bobby Deol attended the film’s success party in Mumbai last week.
Gadar 2 special screenings
Sunny Deol saw the film at a few special screenings in London and other cities. The film was also shown to Lok Sabha members at the New Parliament House in New Delhi. It lasted three days, with five shows per day for Lok Sabha members.
Sunny Deol reprises his role as truck driver Tara Singh, and Ameesha Patel plays Sakina. Tara Singh and Sakina’s son Charanjeet are also played by Utkarsh Sharma, son of director Anil Sharma. He appeared as a child in the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The film also stars Gaurav Chopra, Manish Wadhwa, and Simrat Kaur.
