Jailer box office: In India, Rajinikanth’s film is expected to gross more than Rs 300 crore.
The domestic box office for Rajinikanth’s Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, has reached 295 crore.
Jailer box office: Rajinikanth’s Tamil film, Jailer, is on track to surpass the $300 million mark at the domestic box office. According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, the film earned 3.65 crore in India on its second Wednesday from all languages. The domestic box office total for the film is now 295.65 crore. Box office for the Jailer
Jailer debuted on August 10, the same day as Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2. While Gadar 2 is in first place, Jailer is in second place. While Gadar 2 has surpassed the 400 crore mark, Jailer is on track to surpass the 300 crore mark soon.
Jailer had a Thursday opening of 48.35 crore, which was higher than Gadar 2’s opening of 40 crore the day before. Jailer earned 235.85 crore in its first week but slowed after the second weekend.
In just 12 days, Nelson Dilipkumar’s film has become the second fastest Tamil film to reach 550 crore worldwide. The fastest film was Rajinikanth’s 2018 film 2.0, which reached the number in just eight days.

Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, and Vasanth Ravi also appear in the film. The film features cameos by Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal, and Jackie Shroff. Tamannaah Bhatia plays an actor and appears in the film’s special dance number Kaavaalaa, which became a hit on the internet before the film’s release. Sun Pictures produced the film, which features music by Anirudh Ravichander.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has returned to Chennai after a spiritual retreat in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand. He prayed at the Badrinath Temple in Chamoli, the Ram Janmbhoomi and Hanuman Garhi in Ayodhya, and several other locations. On his way, he met with several politicians, including Uttar Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel, Yogi Adityanath, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, and Jharkhand governor C. P. Radhakrishnan.
