“WALL-E” by Pixar succeeds in being three things at once: an engrossing animated movie, a visual wonderment, and a passable science-fiction story. I had almost run out of childlike credulity after “Kung Fu Panda,” but this movie, like “Finding Nemo,” is one you can still enjoy even if you’re an adult. The fact that it functions largely without spoken dialogue is all the more amazing; it is easily comprehensible, which is better given that it tells a global story.

A vibrant, animated, computer-generated ride like Ralph Breaks the Internet doesn’t skimp on adult humor or product placement. March 4, 2022 | 3/4 | Complete Review The movie repeatedly makes fun of how easily we get sidetracked and how we’ll waste time and money on things that won’t last.

This animated movie has a lot to recommend it! The voice cast is excellent, the jokes are funny and clever, the movie references are amusing, and the animation is cheerful with warm color pops. In the opening scene of the film, humans and anthropomorphic animals coexist in a Los Angeles diner.

Before going into full heist mode (I love you Honey Bunny), Mr. Wolf (Sam Rockwell), the leader of the Bad Guys, a group of animals with a bad reputation, and Mr. Snake (Marc Maron), his second-in-command and an expert safe cracker, are talking about birthdays. The remaining members of the gang are Mr. Shark (Craig Robinson), Mr. Piranha (Anthony Ramos), Hacker Ms. Tarantula (Awkwafina), Master of disguise, and Mr. Shark.
